Jacqueline has advocated for the People of Cook County for over 17 years.
She has dedicated her life to the People as a prosecutor, and has taken on the duty and responsibility to protect others from harm.
As a prosecutor in the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Unit, Jacqueline primarily fights for justice for women and children who are survivors of sexual assault and battery.
She spends countless hours comforting the survivors of sexual assault, and families who have lost a loved one due to violence.
In her more than 17 years as an Assistant State’s Attorney, Jacqueline has litigated hundreds of cases, and gained immeasurable litigation experience.
She is inside a courtroom on a daily basis, and prosecutes the most serious felony charges, including murder, rape, aggravated vehicular hijacking and armed robbery. As an experienced litigator, Jacqueline has handled as many as 500 active felony cases at one time.

These are just a few of the numerous qualities she possesses that make her an exceptional litigator as well as an excellent candidate for judge. Jacqueline grew up on the Southside of Chicago and she is a mother, a wife and a full-time prosecutor. In her free time, she volunteers as a Girl Scout Troop leader, a t-ball coach, a soccer coach, she teaches Constitutional law to middle school children, and mentors new attorneys.
